Since the beginning of this year, companies have received 18.3 billion dollars of foreign currency. More precisely, the foreign currency accounts of the companies increased by this amount. Households, on the other hand, received 8.7 billion dollars, while gold accounts increased from 32 billion dollars to 60.3 billion dollars. Of course, some of this increase was due to the increase in gold prices. Gold prices have increased by 51.2 percent in dollar terms since the beginning of the year. The gold account of the companies increased from 2.2 billion dollars to 5.7 billion dollars. The total foreign currency accounts amounted to $192 billion at the beginning of the year, rising to $244 billion as of October 3, 2025.
